Park Avenue's Many Faces

Park avenue has undergone many transformations over time: a prestigious residential address reserved for large bourgeois residences, the main street of the Montreal Jewish and Greek communities, a high-traffic artery... It has been repeatedly condemned - some have predicted that it would become an urban desert - but has shown an astonishing resilience, precisely because of its diversity. Come and explore the exciting history of this avenue and discover the many traces left by those who built it and lived there. Mile End Memories is a not for profit local history association. We organize lectures and walking tours of this neighborhood since 2003.
